What is MOTORCAL?
Motorcal is a German StartUp from Munich addressing not only every automotive enthusiast, but simply anyone interested in automobiles and their "world". To make it short, the MOTORCAL Team is following one big vision: To provide the biggest, most complete calendar for automotive happenings!
At the actual stage we are collecting event data in whole Germany, Austria, Swiss for a start and developing the front and back end. To finalize our project we are simultaneously looking for Business Angels an investors to help us get our idea out in the market and start changing the automotive world!
So how exactly does it work?
If you've ever asked yourself when there's the next swap meet, the next car show, the next british-car-only road course in your area, and and and, you can simply define your search via a series of drop down menus and find exactly the event you're looking for - in an instant. The same goes for questions such as when does you BMW-dealer have the next sales-event, when does your mechanic have summer-sale on tires, or even when is the next electric-car conference for automotive professionals? MOTORCAL will provide you with any information on any event settled within the automotive world.
Where will MOTORCAL have all the data from?
At first we have to collect it on our own, of course, to have a set of data to begin with. In the end though we want MOTORCAL to be so effective an renowned, that all automotive promoters, event organizers and -sponsors will create and promote their events on our specially developed platform.
Who's behind MOTORCAL?
Two guys, longterm friends since early high school, put their heads together and started this huge project: Paul is the mastermind behind all the technique needed for this project whilst Rob is the one taking care of all entrepreneurial tasks. It's the Team's second big project - in 2007 they already founded Hurricane Rock, which was to become Germany's second largest Web-Radio-Station in the years 2009-2010!
So when will it start?
We are constantly developing our platform but we definitely need the help from software engineers, css specialists and web designers. Once we're all settled though we hope to be online within two months. Our primary goal is therefore to have everything set up and going by Autumn 2014!
